Acketts ATM security device prevents UK Bank ram raids

The Acketts Anti-Theft Device plinth was put to the test recently when two ATMs at Nationwide Building Society’s Small Heath, Birmingham, branch were attacked April 3. The ATMs were raided using a large forklift, but the machines could not be removed.

Nationwide Building society, who routinely install to Acketts ATD have reported they “are extremely impressed by the performance of the ATD”.
